Usage Guidelines:

Given its intense UVB output, this bulb is ideal for spacious enclosures (at minimum 30" in height). Always check your reptile’s specific UVB needs and adjust the bulb's distance from the basking spot as necessary.

You might need an extra halogen heat source or UVB lamp to achieve the ideal temperature or UVB gradient for your reptile. Regularly monitor the basking area temperature and tweak the fixture height to maintain a safe heat range.
